We're in the home stretch...



"Better is one day in Your courts than a thousand elsewhere." (v.10)


That's our third and final Power Verse to memorize from this psalm, and it's part of video #6, which is now posted on the Lent page of www.wearerooted.net. (Side note: I like a lot of Matt Redman's other songs too! I think my favorite is "Blessed Be Your Name" but he has a lot of good ones.)


You might be wondering, does the writer of this Psalm ever say anything to God that isn't praise? Does he ever actually ASK for anything? Yes, he does--in v.8-9. Then he gets right back to praising again... what if we prayed that way? It would be a challenge, for sure, but probably one worth trying!
